We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Cleaning team based in Oldham.



Location: Oldham Library, Cultural Quarter, Greaves Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester (OL1 1AL)Hours: 10 hours per week - typically split across early morning shifts (06:30-08:30), some flexibility may be available

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



What will you be responsible for?As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Library & Cultural Quarter team, supporting them in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces

-Cleaning and replenishing washroom and kitchen facilities, including consumables

-Emptying waste receptacles and disposing of waste correctly

-Safely using and maintaining cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines

-Following cleaning schedules, colour‑coding systems and health & safety procedures at all times

-You can follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures

-You understand the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

-You are reliable, detail‑focused and take pride in your work
