We are recruiting an experienced Nurse Qualified Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in Acton, West London. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with a strong background in care home management, CQC compliance, and clinical governance.
This role is ideal for:
An established Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager, or
A strong Deputy Manager with nursing home experience ready to step up
Experience in turnaround, troubleshooting, or service improvement will be highly advantageous.
The Role – Nursing Home Manager (Acton)
As Registered Nursing Home Manager, you will have full accountability for the operational, clinical, and regulatory performance of the nursing home. You will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care, while leading and developing a high-performing team.
You will create a positive, inclusive culture focused on quality, dignity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Full operational and clinical management of the nursing home
Act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance and governance standards
Lead, motivate, and develop nursing, care, and support teams
Drive quality improvement, inspection readiness, and service development
Manage budgets, occupancy, staffing levels, and performance KPIs
Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and clinical governance
Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals
Maintain a welcoming, high-quality care environment
About You – Essential Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) – essential
Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Manager within a nursing home
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance
Confident, visible leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
Proven ability to improve standards, manage change, and lead teams through improvement
Passionate about delivering outstanding nursing care and improving residents’ quality of life
Salary & Benefits
£65,000 – £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
