The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for one of our client's based in Tuxford.
Our client has over 30 years experience in the Logistics sector and are specialists in palletised distribution. They're looking for reliable and competent Class 1 Drivers to assist with their operations.
Main duties:
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries
- Using an electric powered pallet truck
- Following daily delivery schedules
- Performing daily vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness
- Ensure safe and compliant driving in accordance with UK road laws and regulations
- Communicate any issues or delays with the transport team in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 licence (C+E)
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Excellent time keeping and communication skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Must have held licence for at least 2 years and have 2 years driving experience.
