We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Chippenham, Melksham, Corsham, Devizes, Calne, Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon. Based in our local community, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, helping them live comfortably and independently while aligning with our company's values of compassion and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
- Develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
- Support clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote independence and dignity for all clients.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist with light domestic tasks as required.
- Proven experience or interest in home or social care.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel between client locations.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a home care or similar setting is preferred.
