Registered Care Manager – Domiciliary Care - Edinburgh

The Role

As our Registered Care Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and growing Caremark Edinburgh. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the office day‑to‑day — recruiting, training, and supporting a motivated care team
Ensuring full compliance with Care Inspectorate Scotland, legislation, and industry standards
Acting as the first point of contact for customers, local authorities, and partner agencies to deliver outstanding client satisfaction
Driving business growth through effective marketing and recruitment strategies
Designing and delivering in‑house training to maintain high standards of care
Conducting care assessments and creating person‑centred care plans while building strong relationships with clients, families, and professionals
Managing budgets and resources to ensure efficiency and sustainability

About You

We’re looking for a passionate leader with the skills and drive to shape a new care service in Edinburgh.

Minimum Requirements

SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 7 (minimum)
Ability to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Manager of a Care at Home service (or already registered)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle — essential for visiting clients and managing staff across the community
Full Right to Work in the UK (mandatory)
Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate Scotland standards, SSSC Codes of Practice, and adult support & protection
Knowledge of the Edinburgh area and existing contacts highly advantageous
Proven leadership and people management, excellent communication and organisational abilities, ability to work under pressure and problem‑solve effectively
Integrity, passion, and commitment to building a resilient, inspection‑ready service

Desirable (Not Essential)

SVQ Care Services Leadership & Management (SCQF Level 10) or willingness to work towards it
Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager (preferred) or in a senior care management role
Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated to grow a new territory and make a lasting community impact

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
