Summary

We are a friendly home care company based in Chelmsford and covering all surrounding areas. Delivering heart–led, person-centred care to people in their own homes. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Recruiter to manage our recruitment and compliance.

The Role

As our Recruiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring we recruit high-quality care staff who share our values and commitment to providing quality care. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising and screening candidates through to compliance checks and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment for Care Assistants and other operational roles

Create and post engaging job adverts across multiple platforms

Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess suitability

Coordinate recruitment events, open days, and community outreach

Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed in line with CQC and regulatory requirements (DBS, references, right to work, etc.)

Maintain accurate recruitment records and compliance documentation

Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline

Work closely with the manager to understand staffing needs

Promote the organisation’s values, culture, and employer brand

About You

Previous recruitment experience, ideally within health & social care

Strong understanding of compliance and safer recruitment practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies

Confident using recruitment systems, job boards, and MS Office

A passion for social care and making a positive difference

Experience recruiting care assistants/support workers

Knowledge of CQC standards

Experience in high-volume recruitment

Access to your own vehicle and UK driving licence (ESSENTIAL)

This is a dual-role position, and the successful candidate will be required, when necessary, to provide community-based care support to cover emergencies, staff shortages, or last-minute cancellations.
