I am a young boy living in Swansea. I am non-verbal autistic and have global development delay. I act much younger than I am due to my condition. I am very affectionate and love a cuddle. I am a very happy and well behaved. I like to watch my mum doing things, I dislike some sounds. I love anything sensory especially lights. I love the outdoors.
Driver required to take me out.

4 hours per week after school or on a weekend

Essential:
I need you to:
• Make sure I am safe I like to try and eat things.
• Are comfortable if I give you a cuddle.
• Are happy to help me to go to the toilet if needed.
Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You have previous experience.
I’d like support with
• Going out in the community once I get to know you.
• Letting mum do things at home while I play or chill.
I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.
Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
