Crynodeb
I am a 31-year-old female, living in Manselton, Swansea. I currently live alone in my first home. I am a chemistry graduate, and now work full-time in Swansea University, in data science. I really enjoy socialising, live music, eating out, going for long walks, travel, craft fairs, and many other things. I also volunteer at a young disabled drama group, and Llys Nini Animal Rescue Centre. But due to my epilepsy, I am unable to do these things without a companion. I aim to employ a personal assistant to enable me to go out more independently, and not only when friends and family are available. At present, I have absence and blackout type seizures.
Driver required to take me out.
Male / female preferred –no preference.
Hours of work
As I currently work full time, the role would mainly be weekday evenings and Saturday/Sunday daytime, and possibly weekdays if annual leave was taken.
Hours will be flexible, ranging from 10-20 hours per week. This can be mutually agreed.
Rate of pay.
£13.13
Any mileage and expenses would also be covered.

• Accompany me to various social events, but not necessarily take part in the activity, and just observe, allowing my independent social interaction.
• Ensure I am safe during, and after, a seizure, and assist me with taking the correct medication post-seizure.
• Supervise me when I am using cooking equipment.
Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You have previous experience.
• You were comfortable to be involved with the voluntary activities mentioned above.

Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.
Concerning the position
