An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Service Manager to join the Endoscopy Team at UCLH.
The post holder will work closely with the Reception Team, Endoscopy Booking Co-ordinators, Assistant General Manager, Endoscopy Validator, Matron and Clinical Lead and other other members of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
As Service Manager, you will provide operational support to the Endoscopy Service which covers everything from diagnostics to complex therapeutic treatments. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager you will lead on DM01, cancer waiting times and RTT and will be responsible for achieving activity targets and improving productivity.

The post holder will be required to work a minimum of three days on site both in the UCLH offices and within the Endoscopy department.

The Service Manager reports to the Assistant General Manager and leads the administrative team. The post-holder has the following responsibilities:

• Oversight of day-to-day service management of Endoscopy, with particular responsibility for patient access to outpatient and inpatient care.

• Lead the administrative teams to provide a high-quality administration service to all patients, carers and referring practitioners accessing the endoscopy services.

• Support the delivery of performance targets (DM01, RTT and Cancer), including activity and workforce, and others as applicable.

• Manage and develop GI inpatient and outpatient pathways to ensure continuous improvement.

• Work closely with the relevant Clinical Lead(s) and Senior Nurses to provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure services continue to improve and develop.
