Summary
Support Worker – Supported Living
We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join our team at a supported living home near St Buryan, Penzance.
About the Role
You will be supporting adults to live as independently as possible in a supported living environment. This is a rewarding role that involves providing person-centred care, promoting independence, and supporting daily activities.
Shifts & Hours
• Flexible work available
• Weekly shifts
• Some waking nights shifts available
• Enhanced rate for night and sleep-in shifts
Pay
• £12.21 per hour
• Increased rate for nights/sleep-ins
• Weekly pay – paid every Friday
Essential Requirements
• Must drive and have your own car (due to rural location)
• Required training:
• Medication administration
• Safeguarding
• Manual handling
• Epilepsy awareness
• First aid
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting individuals with daily living tasks
• Administering medication safely
• Promoting independence and choice
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment
• Following care plans and safeguarding procedures

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in care is desirable
