FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Delivery Driver / Yard Person.

Delivery Driver / Yard Person role:
• We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Delivery Driver/Yard Assistant to support our field teams and day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for a practical, motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, operational environment.
Delivery Driver / Yard Person responsibilities:
• Safely collect, transport, and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to field teams and customer locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Keep the yard organised, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Conduct basic stock checks and assist with inventory management.
• Support the team with general yard duties, including equipment preparation and project logistics.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Work closely with field operatives, providing timely support to help projects run smoothly.
Delivery Driver / Yard Person requirements:
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a clean UK driving licence; van driving experience is a plus.
• Well-organised with the ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe working practices.
• Reside within a commutable distance of Salisbury (accommodation not provided).
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
