An opportunity has arisen to become an Assessment and Reviewing Officer in a well-established, integrated mental health team. If you think that these statements speak to you then read on - The B&NES mental Health Recovery Team is a dynamic team, working with people with differing needs and presentations. There is a strong multi-disciplinary working environment with positive collaborative relationships. The role involves reviewing packages of support or placements for individuals with mental health needs. We recognise that skills and experience are transferrable, but the applicant needs to have a commitment to the recovery and strengths-based model of support and underpinned by a rights-based approach. One of the values of the team is to deliver flexible and creative support drawing on solution focussed interventions, involving the community and the third sector and thus ensuring that an individual develops the skills they need as they go forward with their recovery Both the team and B&NES Council are committed to providing continued professional development through supervision, opportunities to develop skills and gain experience, and training opportunities. The post is based in Bath and North East Somerset, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful city, surrounded by amazing countryside locations, and offering an impressive variety of arts, culture and sports.
