Summary
Early Years Practitioner (Additional Support)
Bradpole Preschool is a friendly, non-profit early years setting with charitable status, providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2–5 years. We care for up to 26 children per session in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
We are seeking a Early Years Practitioner to give additional support, with one-to-one elements, to join our established team from the Spring term on a fixed contract to August 2027 (See ‘Contract’ below).
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
• Have a friendly, flexible, and positive attitude
• Work effectively as part of a supportive, established team
• Build strong, caring relationships with children and parents
• Demonstrate a genuine commitment to early years education and inclusion
Qualifications and Training
• Applicants must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred)
• Willingness to undertake additional training as required is essential
Pay
• Rate of pay will depend on age and level of qualification
• Paid pro rata
Hours
• Between 16 and 30 hours per week.
• Term-time only
Contract
• Fixed-term contract until August 2027 (end of the 2026/2027 school year)
• Possibility of a permanent contract following successful completion of the fixed term
