Summary

At Holmehurst Residential Home, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering engaging activities that bring joy and fulfilment to our Residents. You’ll also support the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events that help make a difference.

Whether you’re encouraging Residents to build confidence and socialise, creating new activities based on their hobbies and interests, or involving the wider care team in fun initiatives, you’ll approach every task with compassion and positivity.
We’re looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with a background in developing activity programmes. Beyond that, it’s all about your energy, creativity, and ability to connect with people. Strong planning, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to manage your time effectively. Above all, you’ll communicate with Residents and colleagues in a way that is considerate and kind.
