The Role

An established engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their fabrication team. This is a long-term opportunity offering stable day-shift hours and regular overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up press brakes daily using the correct tooling for each job

  
  

• Safely operate press brake machinery

  
  

• Select appropriate tooling for varying components and materials

  
  

• Inspect machines and report any maintenance issues

  
  

• Accurately read and interpret technical engineering and folding drawings

  
  

• Maintain high standards of quality and workplace safety

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Previous press brake setting and operating experience (essential)

    
    

  • Ability to work confidently from technical drawings

    
    

  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking

    
    

  • Strong team player with a flexible approach

    
    

  • Willing to work overtime during busy periods

    
    What’s On Offer

    • £15.00 – £17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience

      
      

    • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

      
      

    • Overtime paid at time and a half and double time

      Experience

      • Press Brake Setting / Operating experience preferred (5+ years advantageous)
