About the RoleWe are looking for a kind, reliable and understanding female Personal Assistant to support a young child, who lives with her parents and brother. The role involves providing support with personal care, daily living activities, and accessing the community.
Main Duties
- Support with washing and dressing
- Help with domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Assist with meal preparation and making lunches if not pre-prepared
- Provide supervision and encouragement when out in the community
- Providing support during community outings to ensure her safety and wellbeing, with particular attention to road awareness and awareness of unfamiliar individuals.
- General companionship and promoting independence
- Female PA preferred
- Some experience in care is desirable, especially with understanding of PDA and ASD
- Must be reliable, friendly, and supportive
- A DBS check will be required
- Non-smoker preferred
- Saturday and Sunday: afternoons and evenings (some flexibility available)
- Additional hours may occasionally be offered depending on availability and needs
- The child may need help to make lunches if not pre-prepared
- She requires supervision when out and about for safety reasons
- The household has a disassembly buggy and reins for support when going out
- Driving isn't essential as the child has a bus pass she can utilise
