Package Description:

2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe are offering a brand-new hybrid role, working across Night Hygiene and Production Operations.

With investment in operations on site well underway, we now have a need for a new Hybrid team to support further site developments.

About the role

This new role will focus on Night Hygiene operations, whilst also supporting Production to ensure our Scunthorpe site remains a world class production site.

Operatives will work 12-hour shifts on a brand-new hybrid pattern; 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 7 off. Shifts will be 18:00-06:00 (4 hours ops, 8 hours hygiene) OR 22:00-10:00 (8 hours hygiene, 4 hours ops). This would give an average of 33.5Hrs per week.

The rate of pay on offer is £16.00 per hour.

Main Responsibilities

As a Hybrid Night Hygiene Operative with 2 Sisters Food Group, you’ll be expected to:

  • Adhere to strict food hygiene practices, regularly cleaning your hands.
  • Work at a consistent rate to ensure that daily production targets are met. (don’t worry, we’ll give you time to get up to speed)
  • Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines, looking after yourself and your colleagues.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow set standard operating procedures.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Operate in accordance with cleaning schedules, ensuring customer specifications are met.
  • Ensure micro swabbing pass rates are above acceptable level for own tasks.
  • Complete daily hygiene control sheets and any relevant corrective action within the agreed timescales.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure water usage is kept to a minimum & chemicals are used at the correct concentration.
  • Be a part of the TEAM.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience as a Hygiene OR Production Operative in a food manufacturing environment would be ideal, but not essential, what are we looking for is:

  • Honesty – Be open with us, we understand that sometimes your personal life takes priority, so speak to us, let us know…we can try our best to work things out together.
  • Reliability – Turn up for your allocated shifts and try your best, we don’t ask much more.
  • Flexibility – Overtime may be available/required on occasion, as will a change of duty to meet production requirements…we will never ask you to do anything you have not been trained to do.
  • Teamwork – Work with your colleagues and management, support one another and make everyone’s job easier.
  • Good Work Ethic – Its fast paced here, don’t let your colleagues down.

It is essential that you can read and understand written English as you will need to understand written instructions on the use of chemicals.
