About Us:
Woodhouses Rise and Shine Before and After School Club is a new provision being established following the retirement of our longstanding Out of School Club Manager. We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children aged 411.

Term Time: Places available for Woodhouses School pupils only
Holiday Club: Open to children from other schools


Working Hours:
Term Time;

  • Mornings: 7:15 am 8:45 am
  • Afternoons: 3:00 pm 6:00 pm

Total: 22.5 hours per week

Holiday Club:

  • Flexible hours between 8:00 am 6:00 pm (up to 30 hours per week)

Role Overview:
As Club Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the Before & After School and Holiday Club including providing food and snacks
  • Plan and deliver creative, stimulating activities for children aged 411
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements
  • Supervise and motivate staff, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of care
  • Build positive relationships with parents and the school community

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, Child Care, or Playwork (or equivalent)
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Experience in childcare settings, staff supervision, and activity planning
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Desirable:

  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate

Additional Information:

  • Appointment subject to two satisfactory references, enhanced DBS check, and pre-employment checks
