We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Care Home Manager for our client in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate would have strong leadership skills and highly developed organisational skills to lead a care home supporting adults with mental health needs, whilst ensuring compliance with CQC standards and delivering exceptional care.
Duties and responsibilities for the role:
- Efficiently manage the day to day running of the service.
- Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership and guidance to ensure staff have a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely and effectively.
- Implement effective practice that support compliance with infection prevention and control requirements and food hygiene / environmental health regulations.
- Ensure care plans reflect residents needs and are up to date
- Maintain quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance
- Liaise with and maintain partnerships with other local community organisations
- Develop and maintain a safe, supportive and recovery focused environment for residents.
About the Care Home:
As the manager, you will be managing a 20-bedded care home for mental health illnesses and autism. This client is based in Portsmouth, and they have asked that you have previous experience managing a care home.
