About the role
We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working out of our Rail & Technology hub
at Trax Park, Doncaster, you will provide crucial support to the Strategic Bid Manager and the wider team. In this role, you will
be responsible for the efficient coordination and execution of day-to-day activities related to the Bid Management and Contract
Variation processes to support the delivery of high-quality, compelling proposals and contract variations to our customer base.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Bid Coordination: Coordinating bid teams and inputs from key internal stakeholders to ensure all process timescales, governance
steps, and internal deadlines are met.

* Proposal Preparation: Coordinating the planning and preparation of high-quality responses to ITTs/RFQs, presentations, and
proposals for both existing and prospective customers.

* Contract Variations: Supporting the day-to-day management of the Contract Variation process, including the professional writing
of customer-centric proposals.

* Information Management: Maintaining the CRM system with relevant opportunity data, managing team inboxes, and proactively
monitoring customer portals to identify new bidding opportunities.

* Stakeholder Support: Coordinating meeting agendas, capturing actions and discussion points, and ensuring the timely completion
of tasks by relevant stakeholders.

* Continuous Improvement: Using Unipart Way tools to achieve a minimum of Level 3 competency and identifying ways to improve
processes and systems.


About You
You will be a collaborative team player with a high degree of attention to detail and a professional attitude towards your work.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Stakeholder Management: Previous experience in effectively managing multiple internal and external stakeholders and working
collaboratively within a team environment in an administration role.

* Excellent attention to detail: Working to a high degree of accuracy and consistently ensuring a high level of work quality.

* Strong organisational skills and able to adapt to a fluctuating workload driven by external deadlines.

* IT Literate and proficient in using various software and systems.

* GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths.

* Knowledge of the Rail Industry would be highly desirable.
