Crynodeb
1. To act as the lead specialist for the specified clinical area, managing own highly specialist caseload. 2. To be responsible for providing training and education in the area of clinical speciality to other dietitians and healthcare professionals as appropriate. 3. To provide advanced nutritional and dietetic advice in specialist area to medical, health care professionals and other agencies. 4. To assess plan and implement complex treatment programmes and monitor patients in a variety of settings, offering therapeutic dietary advice and education, to address patients complex and changing needs. To lead service development within own clinical area and contribute to the nutrition and dietetic service as a whole through participation in service development. You will be encouraged and supported in your CPD, and as you progress in the role we'll want you to share your knowledge with the wider department, helping to inform and develop departmental policies where required.
