We’re looking for a **Web Development Engineer** to build, maintain, and improve modern, secure, high-performance websites and web applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver reliable features, smooth user experiences, and well-structured code.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain websites and web applications (frontend + backend)
* Build responsive, mobile-first interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Implement backend logic, APIs, database queries, and authentication
* Integrate third-party services (payments, email, maps, analytics, etc.)
* Improve performance (speed, caching, optimisation) and stability
* Ensure security best practices (validation, access control, secure sessions)
* Debug issues, write tests where needed, and maintain clean documentation
* Use Git, follow coding standards, and participate in code reviews
* Support deployments and work with hosting environments when required

Required Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a Web Developer / Web Development Engineer
* Strong knowledge of **HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)**
* Experience with a backend framework (preferably **PHP/Laravel**)
* Solid understanding of **REST APIs**, authentication, and database design
* Experience with **MySQL/PostgreSQL**
* Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
* Comfortable using Git and modern development workflows

Desirable (Nice to Have)

* Laravel ecosystem experience (queues, jobs, middleware, policies)
* Frontend frameworks (React/Vue)
* DevOps basics: CI/CD, Docker, server setup, monitoring
* Experience with SEO fundamentals, accessibility (WCAG), and analytics tracking
* Marketplace, CRM, or dashboard development experience
