Wash Operator

East Kilbride | Full-Time | On Site

Quartztec Europe is a long-established manufacturing company supplying high-quality quartzware and thermocouples to the global semiconductor industry. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Wash Operator to join our production team in East Kilbride.

The Role

The Wash Operator is responsible for the precision cleaning of quartz glass products, ensuring all components meet strict quality and contamination control standards prior to final inspection and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

⦁ Perform precision washing and cleaning of quartz products using approved processes
⦁ Operate manual and semi-automated wash stations
⦁ Handle and prepare cleaning solutions in line with SOPs and safety requirements
⦁ Work within cleanroom and controlled environments
⦁ Carry out basic equipment checks and routine maintenance
⦁ Accurately record process parameters and documentation
⦁ Follow strict health, safety, PPE, and contamination control procedures

About You

⦁ Strong attention to detail
⦁ Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions
⦁ Comfortable working in a cleanroom or chemical-processing environment
⦁ Manufacturing, cleanroom, or chemical handling experience desirable (training provided)

Package & Benefits

⦁ Salary: £26,000 per annum (annual review)
⦁ Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:00 | Friday: 07:30–14:45
⦁ 35 days holiday
