Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary £51000 plus £2k per child

Children’s home in Warrington, offering a bright, homely, and nurturing environment for children and young people from birth to 18 years with complex health needs.

Due to the high level of care required, our children depend on our skilled teams for all aspects of daily living, clinical support, and emotional care. staff are compassionate, highly trained, and dedicated to delivering care to the highest possible standard, ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and valued.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager with a strong background in complex health needs, disabilities, or clinical-led children’s services. This role requires an exceptional leader who understands the demands of highly complex care and can confidently manage multidisciplinary teams while maintaining outstanding care standards and regulatory compliance.

You will have full responsibility for the operational leadership of the home, ensuring safe, effective, and child-centred care at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance
Lead and develop a highly skilled care team delivering complex and clinical care
Ensure children’s health, emotional wellbeing, and safeguarding needs are consistently met
Work closely with healthcare professionals, therapists, families, and commissioners
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and health protocols
Maintain a warm, homely, and child-focused environment
Manage staffing, rotas, supervision, training, and performance
Lead Ofsted inspections and drive continuous service improvement
Essential Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Proven experience managing or supervising services for children with complex health needs, disabilities, or medical dependencies
Strong understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Experience working alongside health professionals and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A compassionate, resilient, and values-driven approach
Desirable
Previous Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience
Background in clinical, nursing-led, or specialist disability services
Experience supporting children with life-limiting or highly complex medical needs
