We are seeking a passionate Bartender for our Terrace Restaurant to assist in the smooth running of the Terrace Restaurant on the
Swinton Estate. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive a welcoming atmosphere, ensure customer satisfaction,
and maintain a clean and organised bar area.

Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly
developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award winning
Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping
site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Welcoming customers, listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
* Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
* Handling credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate
* Working with the Restaurant Manager to develop new cocktail recipes
* Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
* Basic math and computer skills
* Ensuring a consistent drinks experience for all of our guests, by serving well executed drinks at a fast pace at all times
* Classic cocktail knowledge
* Strong task and time management abilities
* Understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
* Maintaining high cleanliness
* On-going training will be given in all aspects of restaurant and bar work and there may be opportunities for career
progression.
