Our client, based about 20 minutes from Newark, is looking for a concrete plant operative to work in their busy concrete plant. This is a hands-on role producing concrete to meet customer specification and required technical standards. Working in a heavy plant environment, you will be involved in the process of preparing the moulds for the concrete pour, and must be able to read technical drawings.
Concrete plant operatives must have a good level of fitness as this is a very physically demanding role. A flexible approach to work is required, as well as a commitment to Health, Safety & Environment standards.
Previous experience in concrete/mortar production would be beneficial.
Own transport is required due to location.
This is a long-term temporary role.
Drugs and Alcohol testing carried out on site, so all workers must be prepared to attend for routine testing.
