We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Therapist to join the Community Special Care Dentistry Team in Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a Consultant led specialist service providing high quality community-based dentistry to adults with special needs, in multiple sites across Birmingham and the Black Country. We are looking for anexperienced dental therapist to provide care for adults with special care needs within community dental service in Birmingham



This role is part time -3days (22.5hours) per week

To provide high quality dental treatment as prescribed by a registered dentist forpatients with a wide range of high treatment needs for those who have specialneeds and are unable to access care in the General Dental Service.



To carry out the full range of clinical procedures as permitted within the Dental Therapists Scope of Practice of clinical, under the prescription of registered dentist who has examined the patient and prescribed in writing the course of treatment as defined by the General Dental Council.
