Do you love cooking with children, bringing fun into food, and making a real difference at the end of the school day? We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable Session Leaders in Herefordshire to run our new Kids Kitchen After-School Clubs for 7–12 year-olds.
What the session looks like
1-hour cooking-based session held right after school (approx. 3–5pm including setup and pack-down)
Groups of up to 15 children aged 7–12
All recipes and plans pre-selected — you bring the energy and guidance!
Prep happens in the session, some cooking and they take food home,
These will be regular weekly blocks, and all the kit provided for you, you will need to shop for fresh food items once a week (costs covered).
Pay & Hours
£15.50 per hour
£46.50 per session (paid for 3 hours: 1 hr shopping, 1 hr session, 1 hr setup/pack-down)
Freelance/self-employed basis
Regular weekly work in 6-7 week blocks during term time
Flexibility & Locations
You tell us which days you can commit to, and we’ll match you with a school
Based in Herefordshire
Possibility to run sessions at your own child’s school, or suggest a school you know would love this
Sessions run term-time, although we may look into holiday clubs in the future.
Training & Checks
Training provided: adapting sessions for older children, safeguarding, food & hygiene
DBS check covered by Kids Kitchen (priority will be given to applicants who already have one).
