Do you live and breathe social media? Do you understand how to nurture and grow online communities by helping to deliver engaging content across platforms – from Instagram and TikTok to LinkedIn and Bluesky?

Do you enjoy coordinating an end-to-end a high-volume social content calendar? Are you passionate about advocacy and championing young people?

The Social Media Executive at The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) will play a crucial role in managing DofE’s social media channels. You’ll coordinate and help to produce content across channels targeting audiences closest to our cause – including young people, leaders and volunteers, policymakers, corporate partners, current and potential supporters.

You’ll be joining a passionate, creative and ambitious team at an exciting time as we celebrate the DofE’s 70th anniversary.

What we are looking for:

A social media specialist with a passion for using social media to champion young people.

You will have experience in helping to plan, produce and publish engaging and creative content in a variety of formats across channels.

You will be a self-starter, with exceptional problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, and have the ability to work effectively and independently in a hybrid environment.

You’ll demonstrate a strong dedication to the DofE Values

The DofE are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check. **The geographical allowance is based on a member of staff having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
