Duties include (but are not limited to):
Creation and amendment of CNC Programs and tool data.
Contributing to feasibility reviews
Analyzing existing processes and evaluating potential improvements
Liaise with external tooling companies to identify cost savings Tooling improvements
Lead Engineering projects from concept through to completion
Assist and advice shop floor personnel on setting activities
· Any other reasonable duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the business.
Essential Skills & Requirements
· Good knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes. – (Essential)
· Experience in CNC Programming (Fanuc controls, turning and milling) (Essential)
· Experience in VMC (Essential)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively
· PC literate – Microsoft word, excel etc.
· Willingness to take on new tasks as and when required
