About the Graduate / Teaching Assistant Position:
Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic graduates who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience before beginning teacher training. These are long-term placements with immediate starts available.
We are recruiting graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in the BCP area, including:
- Bournemouth
- Christchurch
- Poole
- Boscombe
- Winton
- Southbourne
- Kinson
- Ferndown
- Broadstone
- Parkstone
- Wimborne and surrounding areas
This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates looking to build classroom experience ahead of teacher training.
No prior experience is required; however, any experience working with children or young people including in a classroom setting will be highly beneficial.
You will be:
- Working 1-5 days per week, term-time only
- Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
- Working across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4
Contract Details:
- Location: BCP Area Dorset
- Position: Graduate / Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)
- Type of Work: Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor

About the Successful Graduate / Teaching Assistant:
- No experience required full training provided
- Holds a recent degree (ideally 2:2 or above)
- Passionate about education with a proactive, can-do attitude
- A positive role model for young people
- Innovative, engaging and adaptable in their approach to learning
To Be Eligible You Must Have /Be:
- Highly motivated with a strong focus on pupil progress
- A positive attitude with a desire to raise attainment
- High energy and enthusiasm
- The ability to engage and motivate students while making learning enjoyable
- Excellent communication skills
