A fantastic opportunity has become available at Pixieland Nurseries. We are looking for bank staff to cover our Plymouth and Saltash sites, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development. We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows out children to thrive within our nursery family environment. Operating for nearly 40 years, if you are looking to gain experience in childcare or already have experience and qualifications, Pixieland is a great place to work.
Duties will include:
- Caring for children
- Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
- Supporting children's play and learning
- Supporting children's development
- Adhere to all safeguarding practices
- Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning
Skills required:
- Good Communication
- Ability to use computer
- Adaptable
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to follow instructions from the room leader
Qualifications requirements
level 2 or level 3 in childcare
Personal qualities
- Polite
- Patient Punctual
- Diligent
- Trustworthy
- Reliable
- Confidentiality essential

This role is zero hours contract with flexible working. The role would be expected to cover our Plymouth and Saltash nurseries with availability Monday-Friday.
