We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our team.​

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role plays a vital part in ensuring health and safety compliance across multiple sites, including schools and council buildings.​

You will be responsible for conducting assessments, supporting caretakers, and liaising with business managers to maintain safe and compliant environments.

This position requires a hands-on approach, combining compliance expertise with strong coordination skills.​

You will deliver essential training, manage risk assessments, investigate accidents, and maintain accurate records.​

Key Responsibilities

Conduct health and safety assessments across multiple sites.

Support caretakers with compliance requirements and procedures.

Liaise with business managers regarding maintenance and site issues.

Deliver Toolbox Talks and provide training to ensure adherence to health and safety policies.

Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.

Update reports, spreadsheets, and maintain accurate compliance documentation.

Produce and adapt risk assessments in line with regulations.

Assist with caretaking duties and facilities management as required.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

UK Driving licence required for travel across different sites.

Ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks, and take ownership.

Organised, independent, and detail-oriented.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Awareness of risk assessments and compliance processes.

Previous health and safety experience, including COSHH knowledge.

Background in facilities management, office coordination, or caretaking is desirable.
