We are seeking to appoint a highly professional, organised and committed School Operations Officer to play a pivotal role in the smooth and effective running of our successful and vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations professional who thrives in a varied role and is motivated by making a meaningful impact on the daily life of the school community. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on key operational functions including administration, premises, health and safety, compliance and HR support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, line manage and develop the administration and site team to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times
• Manage and maintain the School Single Central Record in line with the Trust policies and statutory guidance
• Support the school's marketing activity, including oversight of digital and social media content (in collaboration with the Executive PA)
• Work with the Site Manager to ensure the school environment is safe, well-maintained and fit for use by staff, students and external hirers
• Provide health and safety induction for new staff, visitors, volunteers and students on placement.
• Liaise with the BMAT HR Department on general personnel matters and ensure HR processes run smoothly.
