This well established engineering and manufacturing company in the Knaresborough area are seeking a General Operative to assist in the workshop.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in metal working.
The role will initially be temporary, however this could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
The role:
- Working across a variety of departments such as painting, powder coating, machine operating and spot welding
- Handling and packing of materials and finished goods
- Undertaking basic quality inspection of finished parts
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Learning different processes and machinery within the business
The Person will:
- Have strong attention to detail to ensure high quality
- Be willing to learn and develop with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Any previous experience within engineering or manufacturing would be of great interest
- We are keen to hear from people who have a genuine interest in fabrication
- Must be immediately available and happy to work on a temporary to permanent basis
Hours of work: 7am-3.30pm, Monday - Friday
