Job Role: Mobile Technical Cleaning Operative
Location: Warwickshire Police / West Midlands Police - Mobile (CV11)
Job type: Permanent, Full Time
Contracted: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, includes from 10 pm to 6 am (covering callouts for West Midlands Police) and technical
cleaning duties from 6 am to 9 am for Warwickshire Police (hours may vary depending on the previous night’s workload); overtime
may be required.
Salary: £12.60 per hour

The Role
As a Technical Cleaning Operative, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across multiple
contracts, ensuring all operational requirements are met to the highest standards. The role requires flexibility, professionalism
and the ability to work independently to maintain a clean, safe and compliant environment within sites.
Key responsibilities include:
* Respond quickly to emergency and scheduled cleaning callouts during night shifts.
* Carry out specialist cleaning tasks such as biohazard, forensic and deep cleaning in police facilities.
* Complete early morning cleaning and decontamination work when required.
* Fill out job reports and paperwork accurately after each callout or task.
* Ensure that all company or client-provided equipment and vehicles are cleaned, emptied, and refilled at the end of each shift,
ready for the next shift or team.
Essential Requirements:
* Flexibility to work varied shifts.
* Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
* Follow all security procedures, site access rules and data protection guidelines.
* Must be willing to have the Level 2 Police Clearance, which will be paid for by the company.
* Valid driver’s license (category B) and a willingness to travel is essential to this role.
