The OpportunityCLC Utility Services Ltd is a leading utilities contractor operating across the water, gas, and power sectors in the South East. Our work includes street works, reinstatement, deep excavations, and highway operations, and we are proud to have recently secured the Smart Metering contract for Essex and Suffolk.
We are now recruiting an experienced Street Works Coordinator to support live utility contracts and manage the end-to-end street works process. This role is ideal for someone who already understands permits, NRSWA noticing, local authority engagement, and utilities KPIs and wants stability, responsibility, and progression within a growing contractor.
What You’ll Be DoingYou will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of street works activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and minimal public disruption.
Key responsibilities include:
Permit application, approval, extensions, and compliance management

Managing NRSWA noticing and permit conditions
Coordinating traffic management, anti-skid, and subcontractors
Maintaining accurate street works, inspection, and compliance records
Acting as a point of contact for councils, clients, residents, and businesses
Handling customer enquiries and complaints alongside client customer care teams
Weekly reporting on customer contact, root causes, and resolutions
Working across multiple client and in-house systems
Supporting claims, quotations, and planning with client teams
Ensuring Health, Safety, and environmental compliance at all times
Daily coordination with operational and administrative teams
This is a hands-on coordination role, not a generic admin position.
