Crynodeb
This post is suitable for an experienced paediatrician who has had previous experience of neonatal level 3 care as a junior doctor for at least 12 months. The appointee will: Be accountable to the Speciality Lead in neonatology and the on-call consultant. Provide continuing patient care in partnership with senior and junior colleagues. Provide professional supervision, direction and training for junior medical staff. Be committed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Appraisal. Participate in quality improvement activities on the unit including clinical audit. Participate in research activities on the unit and recruiting patients to studies. Participate in clinical governance processes including mortality and morbidity reviews and guideline development.
