Summary

Job Title: Digital Inclusion Coach (LinkLiving Self Help Service)
Contract: Fixed term for 1 year (funded)
Location: Based at LinkLiving’s Kirkcaldy office with travel across Fife
Hours: 20 hours per week (Tuesday–Thursday)

Are you passionate about helping people live better lives? Would you like to work for a values-led charity where your wellbeing matters as much as the people you support? Join a supportive, trauma-informed team and help people build confidence using digital tools to support their mental health.

About LinkLiving

LinkLiving is a Scottish health and wellbeing charity supporting people affected by trauma, mental health challenges, poverty and inequality. We help people build on their strengths through services including self-help coaching, personal development and employability programmes, supported accommodation, housing support, care at home, befriending, and social cafés.

Our work is guided by our values of Empathy, Respect, Integrity and Caring, which are central to how we support people and how we work together.

The Service

The Self Help Service supports people experiencing mental health challenges to access online digital therapies. Digital Inclusion Coaches help individuals overcome barriers to digital access, develop skills and confidence, reduce social isolation and improve digital life skills.

The Role

Using a trauma-informed approach, you will provide empathetic, practical support to help people make informed choices about using digital tools and therapies. You will act as a digital champion within the service, working alongside partner organisations and external agencies. Ongoing personal and professional development is actively supported.

Applications are welcomed from people with lived experience of using digital or mental health self-help tools, although this is not essential.

About You

You will be educated to SCQF Level 7 (or equivalent), or have relevant experience. You are confident using digital tools such as tablets, laptops and smartphones, and can maintain accurate records.

You have a working knowledge of mental health self-help resources and a strong commitment to person-centred practice. You build positive, trusting relationships and communicate with empathy, compassion and sensitivity. You can manage risk, problem-solve effectively and remain calm in challenging situations.

You take a proactive approach to managing your own wellbeing, work flexibly and reliably, and are a car driver with access to your own vehicle.

What We Offer

Benefits (pro rata) include a competitive salary, 35 days’ annual leave plus additional service-related leave, enhanced sick and family-friendly pay, pension with generous employer contributions, learning and development opportunities, funded PVG and SSSC memberships, healthcare cash plan, employee assistance programme, EV leasing, cycle-to-work scheme and more.

Further Information

This role is subject to PVG membership under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. LinkLiving will cover the cost of membership.

Closing Date: 23:59 on Thursday 29 January 2026
Interview Date: Friday 06 February 2026 (Kirkcaldy)
