Are you passionate about Early Help and Prevention? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to step into the role of an Assistant Team Manager within the Early Help Operations team.
As the Assistant Team Manager in the Early Help Operations Team, you will:
Lead operational delivery of the Early Help service
Deliver quality Early Help advice and guidance across the Early Help system, ensuring that learning and development is a priority.
Maintain oversight of Early Help assessments, plans and closures and ensure robust and timely quality assurance
Liaise with and assist our Child Protection and Support Teams in the completion of moving families from Tier 4 to Tier 3 or 2 Support
Work with professionals in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub to secure a timely consensus about what needs to happen to safeguard and promote a child’s welfare, and to facilitate dispute resolution where this is required
Develop and deliver service improvements to support Lead Workers from our partner agencies
Have excellent relationships skills to engage and build upon working relationships with partner agencies
Line management staff within the team
Monitor performance against KPIs and local measures.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
Have an excellent understanding and proven track record in working within the Early Help system
Have skills in quality assurance and analysis of data
Demonstrate expertise in person-centred and strengths-based approaches
Possess strong knowledge of children’s social care legislation and safeguarding thresholds
Be confident in decision-making and service improvement
Understand how data supports teams and service delivery
Have experience of line management and working within a team
Collaborate effectively with partner agencies
