Remanufacturing Technician

Location: Ollerton
Department: Remanufacturing
Reporting to: Production Manager / Team Leader

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Remanufacturing Technician to join our Remanufacturing team in Ollerton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working with a wide range of automotive components.

The Role

As a Remanufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the remanufacture and testing of a variety of automotive electrical and mechanical products, including but not limited to:

  • Starter Motors


  • Alternators


  • Turbochargers


  • Fan Motors


  • Wiper Motors


  • Control Boxes


  • Bespoke mechanical assemblies


    You will play a key role in ensuring products meet both company and customer quality standards, including Ministry of Defence (MoD) requirements where applicable.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, test, and carry out remedial work on automotive electrical and mechanical products


    • Adhere strictly to MoD processes, including Strip & Survey Reports, component traceability, and approved Work Instructions


    • Evaluate parts availability and commercial viability before commencing work


    • Follow existing Work Instructions and assist in creating new ones where required


    • Embed quality procedures into all work activities


    • Complete tasks within agreed timescales


    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment


    • Ensure all work meets company, customer, and quality standards


    • Support ad-hoc requests from management as required


      About You

      You will be a reliable team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. You will ideally have:

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


      • Proven experience working effectively as part of a team


      • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint


      • Knowledge of QHSE legislation


      • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities


      • Understanding of MoD requirements


      • Experience creating or contributing to technical work instructions
