• Work with exceptional, cutting edge facilities including a CT scanner, laparoscopy, advanced orthopaedics, dentistry, imaging and brand new isolation wards, allowing you to deliver gold standard care in-house.
• Be part of a large, friendly and highly experienced veterinary and nursing team that values collaboration, case discussion, continuous learning and regular social events outside of work.
• Take on a varied, challenging hospital caseload with real opportunities to develop and advance your skills in surgery, diagnostics, imaging and dentistry, while having your ideas genuinely heard and encouraged.
• Join a prestigious, independent RCVS accredited hospital with over 50 years of history, offering a competitive salary up to £70,000 FTE DOE plus a generous benefits package in a truly supportive, team first environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent RCVS accredited hospital in Bicester that has proudly served its community for over 50 years! This is a practice with a rich heritage, a loyal client base, and a reputation for clinical excellence, now combined with the energy and ambition of a newly redeveloped, state-of-the-art hospital environment.

The practice has recently undergone a major transformation, offering outstanding facilities including brand-new isolation wards, a CT scanner, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated dental suite, laparoscopy, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and advanced orthopaedic capabilities. This breadth of equipment and services allows cases to be worked up thoroughly in-house, giving clinicians the tools and support they need to deliver gold-standard care and continually expand their clinical skill set.

You’ll be joining a large, friendly and highly experienced veterinary team, supported by an exceptional nursing team who are passionate, skilled, and collaborative. The culture here is welcoming and inclusive, with a genuine emphasis on teamwork, case discussion and shared learning. Regular social catch ups outside of work help maintain the strong sense of camaraderie that makes this hospital such a rewarding place to work.

The ideal candidate will be a true team player, open to new ideas, keen to share thoughts on cases, and motivated to continually improve. This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a challenge, thrives in a busy hospital setting, and is eager to further develop their skills across surgery, imaging, diagnostics and dentistry. In return, they will find themselves in a supportive, forward thinking environment where enthusiasm, hard work and clinical curiosity are genuinely encouraged and rewarded!
