Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver
The Best Connection are working closely with our client to source additional HGV Class One (C+E) Drivers for their Thirsk operation.
The role:
- The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
- Starting at the Thirsk hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using flatbed vehicles.
- Strapping and securing load
- All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
- Achieving delivery slots
- Using website-based delivery scheduling
- Completion of electronic delivery notes and any associated paperwork
Hours of work:
- 06.00am - 16.00pm
- Monday to Friday
The candidate:
- C+E (Class One) Licence
- In date CPC and DIGI Card
- Experience using Flatbed trailers preferred
Rewards:
- £14.83 per hour (PAYE) for first 8 hours worked Monday to Friday
- £22.25 per hour after 8 hours per day
