Undertake and record the following tasks. Urinalysis Measurement of blood pressure, temperature, and pulse Peak flow measurements New patient health checks NHS Health Checks Hypertension monitoring and other long-term conditions Venepuncture Organisation of housebound annual bloods and entering health monitoring data via System one into patients records MMSE tests Performing ECG's Organisation of urgent blood tests for housebound patients at short notice Other Responsibilities Recognise changes in patients' observations which must be reported and acted on. Assist clinicians in emergency management of patients. Enable patients to access appropriate professionals in the practice team. Act as a chaperone. Provide relevant health promotion literature to the patient. Maintain clinical equipment efficiently.
