Crynodeb
Work closely with senior clinical and non-clinical colleagues across the specialty and particularly with the matron/s, ward managers, medical staff and other staff within the specified service area Establish appropriate working relationships with colleagues in other Clinical Business Units with whom their service interacts and with external bodies, such as General Practitioners and/or CCG colleagues for the fulfilment of particular service issues. Work with colleagues within the corporate directorates (e.g. Nursing, Human Resources, Finance, Clinical and Corporate Governance, Facilities) as necessary. Provide seamless leadership with the clinical lead and Matron for the larger complex specialty/ies ensuring an effective and efficient structure to manage the specialty/ies is in place to oversee delivery, improvement and assurance To support the General Manager and deputise for them in their absence. To support a culture of strong visible leadership within the specialty , and an environment in which staff are valued and respected. To assist the the production of business plans, and service development for the service, where appropriate leading on specific service plans and changes.
