We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team, delivering cyclical decoration works for Plymouth's leading social housing provider. This is a hands-on role in which the successful applicant will be responsible for driving the operational delivery of works on our planned maintenance contract within the Plymouth area. The role will ensure programmes are met, quality standards are maintained, and health and safety compliance is upheld at all times.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations. This includes ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed, conducting regular toolbox talks and site briefings, and monitoring progress to ensure targets are achieved to a high standard. You will also be responsible for ensuring works are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets, as well as liaising with clients and residents when required.

Key responsibilities include the day-to-day supervision of operatives, conducting pre- and post-inspections of works, and organising and allocating operative workloads. The Supervisor will ensure that all works meet required quality and safety standards while maintaining effective communication with both clients and tenants.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in site supervision, preferably within a social housing environment. Experience in one or more trades such as painting and decorating, carpentry, or plumbing is essential. Previous experience as a Painting Supervisor or in a similar role would be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting issues are required.

Required skills and qualifications include a strong background and previous experience managing workers on site, a City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade, and a valid SMSTS qualification.

Optional qualifications that would be advantageous include PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, and First Aid certification.
