Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £22,700 – £26,700 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join the team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a qualified childcare professional who is passionate about early childhood education, child development, and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment in line with the EYFS framework. The nursery would also put you through your Level 3 qualification so a great opportunity for career development.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development in accordance with EYFS
Deliver age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and school readiness
Ensure a safe, inclusive and stimulating childcare environment
Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
Carry out observations, assessments and learning records
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies
Work collaboratively as part of a nursery / early years team
Requirements
Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, caring and enthusiastic approach to childcare
Ability to support children aged 0–5 years
