We are pleased to be working with a supportive and forward-thinking SEMH provision in Hartlepool, who are seeking a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team from January.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a specialist setting that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. For the right candidate, there is clear potential for the role to become permanent.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to engage with learning and develop positive behaviours.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs

We are looking for someone who brings:

Experience supporting young people with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour
