• has a strong understanding of pedagogy and looks for innovative, research-based approaches to improving outcomes for pupils
• is a learner as well as a leader, actively seeking to improve their practice through coaching, mentoring, and other opportunities for professional growth
• is a strong collaborator, a team player and team builder who works well in partnership with peers and external partners
• empowers others and enjoys training and developing staff, growing leaders and providing the systems and structures so everyone can succeed
• is a skilled communicator who translates vision into reality for people and motivates those around them to achieve common goals.
