What skills and experience we're looking for

Leominster Primary School is entering an exciting new chapter with the appointment of a new Headteacher from September 2026. We are now seeking a dynamic, committed and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our school.

Our motto is simple yet powerful: “Learn, Progress, Succeed.” This ethos underpins everything we do from our curriculum to our relationships, and we are looking for a leader who shares this vision and can help bring it to life across our school community.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a track record of excellent classroom practice and school improvement
• Can lead and manage change with vision and empathy
• Is committed to the development of the whole child and is committed to driving inclusion in the school
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships across the whole school community
• Will work close in partnership with the New Headteacher to drive forward our strategic priorities and school priorities and school improvement plans
